LED Lighting Design Prototype

The aim of this project was to create a lamp from a sheet material. I decided to create my own sheet material, my prototype was made from glue from a glue gun laid out in a criss cross pattern which i then manipulated around a gooseneck to make it a flexible lamp. I would intend for this to be made of another form of plastic if it were put into production but I liked the way the glue disapated the directional light from my led’s. I would love to create this on a really large scale; floor to ceiling, in order to show its fully potential as an interesting and different design for the modern home.
